Bindi Sue: Princess of the Universe

Some cats are momma cats and some cats are baby cats.

Some cats, like Irwin, are both baby kittens and big mommas.

Bindi Sue, however, is a baby girl.

Her favourite things? Her red felted mouse full of organic catnip (she's an eco friendly princess) and cupcakes. She loves her big brother to no end. As soon as any male friend enters our apartment, she starts to flirt with him. She tends to ignore the ladies, unless they give her treats.

Her first night with her family was spent in her dad's armpit in San Diego back in October 2001.

I'll write more about her and her magical paw that she likes to show off, an example can be seen below of this behaviour.

Here is a sweet picture of her in Victoria. I used some photo editing software to enhance her glowing beauty!

Isabella Torbet

Before I adopted my three kids, my mom and I adopted Isabella from an animal shelter in Montgomery County.

She was well loved and enjoyed her life with her big brother Nicholas, and was happy to sit and purr on my mom's lap.

She left us for the next realm.

See you on the other side, baby girl.

Cuddle Time

The best part about being a cat has to be all the awesome snuggling.

Bindi, Irwin and Golgi in Art

I normally shy away from cat themed merchandise, but when it comes to earrings, rings and necklaces, I love to show my love for my cats. Here are some links to some beautiful pieces that look like my kids!

Irwin Alligator Torbet-McNaughton was born in a closet in San Diego, California. He loves to snuggle, wrestle with his brother and cuddle with his sister. His favourite soup is tomato and his favorite treat is a meringue cookie.

Baby Pictures: Golgi

In October of 2003, this little kitten was brought to our door by our well meaning neighbours. They had found him in the bushes earlier in the evening and had plans to take him to the local SPCA in the morning, but they could not take care of him overnight. Could I please help them? As soon as I saw this little fluff I knew he was my baby. I knew there was no way I could let him go to the SPCA.

That night I stayed up with him, feeding him and keeping him warm with his new found daddy and siblings. Irwin took to him instantly, just as I had.

In 2003, quality digital cameras were very expensive and nowhere near as common as they are today. I had my film camera and a tiny, poor resolution digital camera.

Here are some of his baby pictures.

Golgi went from nursing off of a syringe to nursing on my hand. We call this behavior "hannie".

Golgi loves to wrestle shoes. Often he has saved his father from evil insoles!

Cat Date 12-28-2010: First Entry

This is a blog dedicated to the daily life of three wonderful cats: Irwin, Bindi Sue and Golgi. Together they are a pack. Individually they are creatures with beautiful personalities. I love to take pictures and talk about these three. This blog seeks to immortalize our life with them. Daily, I hope to tell tales of their tails.

With this blog I will keep my little sister updated on her three favourite Canadians, the cats. I'll discuss their daily habits, what they play with, their preferred treats and what they like to "talk" about and any adventures they have!
